On the authority of Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A child cannot repay a parent except by finding him a slave, then buying him and setting him free." [Reported by Muslim.]

The immense magnitude of the right of parents in Islam. Citing such a remote and rare scenario as the one example of repayment indicates that a child's recompense to his parent is virtually impossible. So let us make abundant supplication for our parents, that Allah reward them on our behalf with the best of rewards.
