عَنْ أُمِّ هَانئٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهَا قالتْ: أتيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ وهُوَ يَغْتَسِلُ وَفَاطِمَةُ تسْتُرُهُ، فقالَ: «مَنْ هَذِهِ ؟» فَقُلْتُ: أنا أُمُّ هَانئٍ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was bathing and Fatimah was screening him. He said: "Who is this?" I said: I am Umm Hani. Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

أجابت أمّ هانئ النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم بكنيتها وأقرها على ذلك. جواز إلقاء السلام والكلام في حال الاغتسال والوضوء من وراء حجاب، بخلاف البائل. جواز ستر البنت لأبيها في حال اغتساله، وأنّه لا يخالف المروءة.
Umm Hani answered the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with her kunyah, and he approved it for her. It is permissible to give the greeting of peace and to speak while bathing or performing ablution from behind a screen, unlike the one relieving himself. It is permissible for a daughter to screen her father while he bathes, and this does not contravene proper decorum (muru'ah).
