عن عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَغْزُو جَيْشٌ الْكَعْبَةَ، فَإِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يُخْسَفُ بِأَوَّلِهِمْ وَآخِرِهِمْ»، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، كَيْفَ يُخْسَفُ بِأَوَّلِهِمْ وَآخِرِهِمْ، وَفِيهِمْ أَسْوَاقُهُمْ، وَمَنْ لَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ؟ قَالَ: «يُخْسَفُ بِأَوَّلِهِمْ وَآخِرِهِمْ، ثُمَّ يُبْعَثُونَ عَلَى نِيَّاتِهِمْ» متفق عليه.
On the authority of Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "An army will march to attack the Ka'bah, and when they reach an open desert, the earth will swallow them all, from the first to the last of them." She said: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how will the earth swallow them all, from the first to the last, when among them are their traders and those who are not of them?" He said: "The earth will swallow them from the first to the last, and then they will be resurrected according to their intentions." Agreed upon (narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim).
الشرح · explanation
حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ: أي بأرضٍ واسعة. أسواقهم: الذين جاؤوا للبيع والشراء وليس لهم قصدٌ سيِّئ. ومن ليس منهم: أي فيهم أُنَاس ليسوا منهم، تبعوهم من غير أن يعلموا بِخُطَّتِهِم.
"When they reach an open desert": meaning a vast, open land. "Their traders": those who came for buying and selling without any evil intent. "Those who are not of them": meaning there are people among them who are not part of them, who followed them without knowing their plan.

أنَّ مَن شارك أهلَ الباطل، فإنه يكون معهم في العقوبة، إذا وقعت تَعُمُّ المؤمن والكافر، ولا تترك أحدًا، ثم يوم القيامة يُبْعَثون على نيَّاتهم.
Whoever associates with the people of falsehood will share in their punishment when it comes, as it will encompass both the believer and the disbeliever, sparing no one; then on the Day of Resurrection, they will be resurrected according to their intentions.
