عَنْ أبي هُريْرةَ رضي اللّه عنه قال: قال رسول اللّه صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «مَنْ تاب قَبْلَ أَنْ تطلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مغْرِبِهَا تَابَ اللّه علَيْه» رواه مسلم.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will accept his repentance." Narrated by Muslim.
الشرح · explanation
تاب اللّه عليه: أي قَبِلَ توبته.
"Allah will accept his repentance" (taba Allahu 'alayhi): meaning He accepted his repentance.
