عَنْ أَنسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: رَأَيْتُ رسولَ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ جالسًا مُقْعِيًا يَأْكُلُ تمْرًا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sitting in a squatting position, eating dates. Reported by Muslim.

مُقْعِيا المُقْعِي هو الَّذي يُلْصِقُ أَلْيَيْهِ بالأرضِ، ويَنْصِبُ ساقَيْهِ.
"Squatting" (muq'i): the one who places his buttocks on the ground and raises his shins upright.
