عَنِ ابنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رسُولَ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ قالَ: «صَلاةُ الجَمَاعَةِ أَفضَلُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الفَذِّ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ درَجَةً» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Congregational prayer is more excellent than the prayer of an individual by twenty-seven degrees." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

"More excellent": that is, greater in reward. "An individual (al-fadhdh)": the single person praying alone.
