عَنِ ابنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you comes to the Friday prayer, let him perform ghusl." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

جاء: أراد أن يحضر. فليغتسل: كالغسل المشروع من الجنابة في كيفيته.
"Comes": intends to attend. "Let him perform ghusl": like the prescribed ghusl for major ritual impurity (janabah) in its manner.
