عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَرَقَهُ وَفَاطِمَةَ لَيْلَةً، فَقَالَ: «أَلاَ تُصَلِّيَانِ؟» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to him and Fatimah one night and said: "Will you two not pray?" Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

ألا تصليان: أي قيام الليل.
"Will you two not pray?": that is, the night prayer.
