عَنْ كعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مُعَقِّبَاتٌ لاَ يَخِيبُ قَائِلُهُنَّ -أَوْ فَاعِلُهُنَّ- دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ: ثَلاثًا وثَلاثينَ تَسْبِيحَةً، وَثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً، وَأَرْبَعًا وَثَلاثِينَ تَكبِيرَةً» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Ka'b ibn Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are utterances following the prayer whose sayer—or doer—will not be disappointed: thirty-three glorifications, thirty-three praises, and thirty-four magnifications after every obligatory prayer."
