عَنْ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي بِحَدِيثٍ يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبِينَ» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever relates from me a hadith that is thought to be a lie is one of the two liars." Reported by Muslim.

التثبت من الأحاديث المروية عن رسول اللّه صلّى اللّه عليه وسلّم، والتأكد من صحتها قبل روايتها. إن صفة الكذاب تطلق على كل من اخترع الكذب وعلى من قام بنقله ونشره بين الناس.
Verifying the hadiths narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and confirming their authenticity before narrating them. The description of "liar" applies to everyone who invents a lie as well as to whoever conveys it and spreads it among people.
