عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ النَّجَشِ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade najsh. Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

النّجش: هو الزيادة في السلعة لا بقصد الشراء، وإنما ليغرّ غيره ويخدعه
"najsh": it is raising the price of goods without intending to buy, but only to deceive another and cheat him.
