عنْ أبي هُريْرةَ رضي اللّه عنهُ قال: قَال رسُولُ اللّه صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «صِنْفَانِ مِنْ أهلِ النَّارِ لمْ أرَهُما: قَوْمٌ معهم سِياطٌ كأذْنَابِ الْبقَرِ يَضْرِبونَ بِها النَّاس، ونِساء كاسياتٌ عارِياتٌ مُمِيلاتٌ مَائِلاتٌ، رُؤُوسُهُنَّ كَأسْنِمةِ الْبُخْتِ المائِلَةِ لا يَدْخٌلنَ الجنَّةَ، ولا يجِدْنَ رِيحَهَا، وإنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مسِيرَةِ كذَا وكَذَا» رواه مسلم.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two categories of the people of the Fire whom I have not [yet] seen: a people with whips like the tails of oxen, with which they beat people; and women who are clothed yet naked, seducing others and swaying [as they walk], their heads like the swaying humps of Bactrian camels. They will not enter Paradise nor [even] smell its fragrance, though its fragrance is perceived from a distance of such and such." Reported by Muslim.

من أهل النار: أي ممّن يعذبون في النار، يمكثون فيها أمدًا طويلًا أو يخلدون. لم أرهما: أي لم يوجدا في عهده صلّى اللّه عليه وسلّم. سياط: جمع سوط وهو ما يضرب به من عصا ونحوها. كأذناب البقر: تشبه أذناب البقر. يضربون بها الناس: أي ظلمًا وعدوانًا لا حدًا أو قصاصًا. كاسيات عاريات: أي كاسيات مِنْ نعْمَةِ اللَّه، عارِيات مِن شُكْرِهَا، وَقِيل: معناهُ: تسْتُرُ بعْض بدنِها وتَكْشِفُ بعْضَهُ إظْهارًا لِجمالِها ونحوه. وقيل: تَلْبِسُ ثَوْبًا رقِيقًا يصِفُ لَوْنَ بدنِهَا، أو الضيق يصف حجم عورتها، أو المزركش البراق الذي يلفت النظر ويجلب الانتباه ويجعل المارقين من الرجال يتخيلون المرأة مجردة من كل ساتر. مائلات مميلات: قيل: مائِلات عَن طاعة اللَّه تعالى وما يَلزَمُهُنَّ حِفْظُهُ، وممِيلاتٌ أيْ يُعلِّمْنَ غَيرهُنَّ فِعْلَهُنَّ المذْمُوم، وقيل: مائِلات يَمْشِينَ مُتَبخْترات مُمِيلات لأكْتَافِهنَّ، وقِيلَ: مائلات إلى الرجال ومميلات لهم إليهنّ مما يبدين من زينتهن ومفاتنهن. كأسنمة البخت: أي رُؤُوسُهُنّ كَأسْنِمةِ الْبُخْتِ يُكبِّرْنَها ويُعظِّمْنها بلَفِّ عِمَامة أوْ عِصابةٍ أو نَحْوه، أو حشو الشعر ووصله بغيره ليظهر كثيرًا، والبخت: نوع من الإبل طويلة الأعناق. لا يجدن ريحها: لا يشممن ريحها وهو كناية عن المبالغة في البعد. كذا وكذا: كناية عن مسافة معينة، وجاء في بعض الروايات أنها مسيرة خمسمائة عام.
"Of the people of the Fire": that is, among those who will be punished in the Fire, remaining in it for a long span or abiding therein forever. "Whom I have not seen": that is, they did not exist in his era (peace and blessings be upon him). "Whips (siyat)": the plural of sawt, which is whatever one strikes with, such as a stick or the like. "Like the tails of oxen": resembling the tails of cattle. "With which they beat people": that is, out of injustice and aggression, not as a prescribed punishment (hadd) or lawful retribution (qisas). "Clothed yet naked": that is, clothed in Allah's blessing yet bare of gratitude for it. It has [also] been said: it means she covers part of her body and exposes part of it to display her beauty and the like; and it has been said: she wears a thin garment that reveals the color of her body, or a tight one that reveals the shape of her private parts, or a gaudy, glittering one that draws the eye and attracts attention and makes deviant men imagine the woman stripped of every covering. "Seducing others and swaying (ma'ilat mumilat)": it has been said: turning away from the obedience of Allah the Exalted and from what they are obliged to preserve, and "causing others to turn away," that is, teaching others their blameworthy conduct; and it has been said: "swaying" [means] they walk with a strutting gait, swaying their shoulders; and it has been said: inclining toward men and drawing them toward themselves through the adornments and charms they reveal. "Like the humps of Bactrian camels": that is, their heads are like the humps of Bactrian camels, which they enlarge and magnify by winding a turban, a band, or the like [around them], or by padding the hair and joining it with other [hair] so that it appears abundant; the bukht is a type of long-necked camel. "They will not smell its fragrance": they will not perceive its scent—a figurative expression of extreme remoteness. "Such and such": an allusion to a specific distance; it comes in some narrations that it is a journey of five hundred years.

تحريم ضرب الناس وإيذائهم دون إثم فعلوه أو ذنب اقترفوه. أنّ أولئك الذين يأخذون الناس بالتُهم ويجلدونهم جلد الرقيق ويذيقونهم ألوان التعذيب ظلمًا وعدوانًا هم قوم كفرة فجرة مارقون من الدين ومجردون عن كل خلق كريم، وأن جزاءهم الهوان في الدنيا والخلود في النار يوم القيامة. حثّ المرأة المسلمة على التزام أمر اللّه عزّ وجلّ، والبعد عن كل ما يسخطه ويجعلها تستحقّ العذاب الأليم والجحيم المقيم يوم القيامة. إنذار ووعيد للأمة التي وقعت فيما أخبر عنه رسول اللّه صلّى اللّه عليه وسلّم من عريّ وكشف في نسائها، وظلم واعتداء على الحرمات والحقوق والنفوس البريئة وقتل للنفوس وسلب للأموال بغير حق.
The prohibition of beating and harming people without any sin they have committed or offense they have perpetrated. Those who seize people on [mere] accusations, flog them as slaves are flogged, and subject them to all sorts of torment out of injustice and aggression are a disbelieving, dissolute people who have deviated from the religion and are stripped of every noble trait; their recompense is disgrace in this world and abiding in the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. Urging the Muslim woman to adhere to the command of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and to keep away from everything that angers Him and makes her deserving of painful torment and everlasting Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection. A warning and threat to the community that has fallen into what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) foretold: nakedness and exposure among its women, and injustice and aggression against sanctities, rights, and innocent souls, killing of souls, and plundering of wealth without right.
