عَنْ أَبي هُريْرَةَ رضِي اللّه عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُول اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَدْنَى مقْعَدِ أَحدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجنَّةِ أَنْ يقولَ لَهُ: تَمنَّ فَيَتَمنَّى ويتَمنَّى، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ: هلْ تَمنَّيْتَ؟ فَيَقُولُ: نَعمْ فَيقُولُ لَهُ: فَإِنَّ لَكَ ما تَمنَّيْتَ ومِثْلَهُ معهُ» رَواهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the lowest station of any of you in Paradise is that [Allah] will say to him: Wish, and he will wish and wish [more]. Then He will say to him: Have you wished? He will say: Yes. Then He will say to him: For you is what you have wished, and the like of it along with it." Reported by Muslim.
