عنْ صُهَيْب رَضِي اللّه عنْهُ أَنَّ رسُول اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَال: «إِذَا دَخَل أَهْلُ الْجنَّةِ الجنَّةَ يقُولُ اللّه تَباركَ وتَعالَى: تُرِيدُونَ شَيْئًا أَزِيدُكُمْ؟ فَيقُولُونَ: أَلَمْ تُبيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا؟ أَلَمْ تُدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ وتُنَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ؟ فَيكْشِفُ الْحِجابَ، فَما أُعْطُوا شَيْئًا أَحبَّ إِلَيهِمْ مِنَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ» رواهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) will say: 'Do you wish for anything more that I may give you?' They will say: 'Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not admitted us into Paradise and saved us from the Fire?' Then He will lift the veil, and nothing given to them will be more beloved to them than looking upon their Lord." Reported by Muslim.

أنّ أعظم نعيم في الجنّة هو النظر إلى وجه اللًه الكريم، ورؤية اللّه هي الغاية القصوى في نعيم الآخرة، والدرجة العليا من عطايا اللّه الفاخرة، بلَّغَنا اللّه وإياكم منها ما نرجو، وقد صرح الحق تبارك وتعالى برؤية العباد لربهم في جنات النعيم وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ ناضِرَةٌ إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ [القيامة: ٢٢-٢٣]. إذا علمت أنّ أهل الجنّة لا يعطون شيئًا فيها أحبّ إليهم من النظر إلى وجه ربهم جلّ وعلا تبين لك مدى الحرمان، وعظيم الخسران، الذي ينتظر المجرمين الذين توعدهم اللّه بقوله: كلّا إنّهم عن ربهم يومئذ لمحجوبون [المطففين: ١٥] نسأل الله السلامة والعافية.
The greatest bliss in Paradise is gazing upon the Noble Face of Allah; seeing Allah is the ultimate goal in the bliss of the Hereafter and the highest rank among Allah's magnificent gifts—may Allah grant us and you what we hope for of it. The Truth (Blessed and Exalted is He) has explicitly affirmed that His servants will see their Lord in the Gardens of Bliss: "Some faces, that Day, will be radiant, looking at their Lord" [Surah al-Qiyamah: 22-23]. Once you know that the people of Paradise are given nothing therein more beloved to them than looking upon the Face of their Lord (Exalted and Sublime is He), the extent of the deprivation and the immensity of the loss awaiting the wicked becomes clear to you—those whom Allah has threatened with His words: "No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be veiled" [Surah al-Mutaffifin: 15]. We ask Allah for safety and well-being.
