عن أبي موسى رضي اللّه عنه قال: قال رسول اللّه صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «مَن مَرَّ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ مَسَاجِدِنَا، أَوْ أَسْوَاقِنَا، ومَعَه نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ، أَوْ لِيَقْبِضْ عَلَى نِصالِهَا بِكفِّهِ أَنْ يُصِيب أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْهَا بِشَيْءٍ» متفق عليه.
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever passes through any of our mosques or marketplaces carrying arrows, let him hold them by their heads — or let him grasp their blades in his palm — lest he harm any of the Muslims with them." Agreed upon (narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

نَبل: سهم. النِّصال: الحديدة التي في رأس السهم.
Arrows (nabl): arrows. Blades (al-nisal): the iron tip at the head of the arrow.
