عنْ سُلَيْمانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ رضي اللّهُ عنهُ قال: كُنْتُ جالِسًا مع النَّبِيّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم، ورجُلان يَسْتَبَّانِ وأَحدُهُمَا قَدِ احْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ، وانْتفَخَتْ أَوْدَاجُهُ. فقال رسولُ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «إِنِّي لأَعْلَمُ كَلِمةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ عنْهُ ما يَجِدُ، لَوْ قَالَ: "أَعُوذُ بِاللّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ" ذَهَبَ مِنْهُ ما يَجِدُ، فقَالُوا لَهُ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ: «تَعَوَّذْ بِاللّهِ مِن الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ» متفقٌ عليه.
Sulayman ibn Surad (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him) when two men began to quarrel, and the face of one of them had turned red and his veins were swollen. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I know a word which, if he were to say it, what he is experiencing would go away. If he were to say: 'I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan (A'udhu billahi min ash-Shaytanir-rajim),' what he is experiencing would go away." So they said to the man: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.'" Agreed upon (narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

يستبَّان: أي يسبُّ كل منهما صاحبه. أوداجه: هي العروق الغليظة المحيطة بالعنق. أعوذ: ألجأ وأعتصم. رجيم: هو المُبعَد من رحمة اللّه تعالى.
Yastaabban: means each one is insulting the other. Awdajuhu: the thick veins surrounding the neck. A'udhu: I seek refuge and protection. Rajim: the one expelled from the mercy of Allah the Exalted.

الغضب يثيره الشيطان، ويترتب عليه الضرر في الدين والدنيا، لذا ينبغي قطع سببه بالاستعاذة. الإنسان عرضة لأسباب الغضب فينبغي له أن يتوقّاها ويَحذرَها، فإذا وُجِدَت وحصل معه الغضب فليتعوّذ باللّه من الشيطان وليكظم وليصبر ولا يُنفِذ مقتضى غضبه. حرصُ الرسول على الإرشاد والتوجيه في كل مناسبة من المناسبات. على كل مربٍّ أن لا يُقصِّر في تقديم النصيحة في كل ما يُعرض عليه من أمور ومشكلات ومنكَرات.
Anger is incited by Satan and leads to harm in both religious and worldly matters; therefore, its cause should be cut off by seeking refuge in Allah. A person is prone to causes of anger and should guard against them. If anger does occur, one should seek refuge with Allah from Satan, suppress the anger, exercise patience, and not act upon it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was keen on providing guidance and direction on every occasion. Every educator should not neglect offering sincere advice regarding all matters, problems, and wrongdoings brought before them.
