عَن أبي هُرَيْرةَ رضي اللّه عنه عن النَّبيّ صلّى اللّه عليه وسلّم قَالَ: «يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أقْوَامٌ أفْئِدتُهُمْ مِثْلُ أفْئِدَةِ الطَّيْرِ» رواه مسلم.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "People whose hearts are like the hearts of birds will enter Paradise." Narrated by Muslim.
الشرح · explanation
أفئدتهم مثل أفئدة الطير: أي من رقتها وخشوعها وخضوعها للّه، وخوفها منه ضعيفة قد أنهكها الخوف والحذر، هكذا المؤمن يخاف ويحذر ويعتمد على اللّه.
Af'idatuhum mithl af'idat al-tayr: meaning their hearts are like the hearts of birds in their tenderness, humility, submission to Allah, and fear of Him -- fragile, worn down by fear and caution. Likewise, the believer fears, is cautious, and relies upon Allah.

بيان أن هناك علاقة بين الرقة والإيمان، ولهذه الرقة النابعة من الإيمان سمات كثيرة، سَرعان ما تذرف العين. سرعة الاستجابة للحق. سرعة الاتعاظ والتذكير، وكُره الظلم بشدة. التفاعل مع مَن حوله، والاهتمام بمشاعرهم فرحًا وحزنًا. التفكير في الآخرين، فإذا عجز عن مدِّ يد العون، فلا أقل من أن يحمل همَّهم في قلبه وعقله. وهي تشمل كل المؤمنين: رجالاً، نساءً، شبابًا، وأطفالاً
There is a connection between tenderness of heart and faith, and this tenderness that springs from faith has many manifestations: The eyes are quick to shed tears. Swiftness in responding to the truth. Quickness to take heed and be admonished, and an intense hatred of injustice. Empathizing with those around him and caring about their feelings, in joy and in sorrow. Thinking of others; and if he is unable to extend a helping hand, then at the very least he carries their concern in his heart and mind. And this applies to all believers: men, women, youth, and children.
