Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No servant conceals the faults of another servant in this world except that Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection." Narrated by Muslim.

The reward for one who conceals the faults of a servant in this world is that Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection — the reward matches the nature of the deed. Allah's concealment of a servant on the Day of Resurrection may take the form of erasing his sins so he is not questioned about them, or questioning him privately without exposing his sins to anyone and then pardoning him. The prohibition of tracking and spreading the faults of Muslims.
