عن أبي هريرة رضي اللّهُ عنه عن النبيّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال: «لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أحَدًا أَنْ يسْجُدَ لأَحدٍ لأَمَرْتُ المرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا». رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن صحيح.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said, "Had I been one to command anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband." [Tirmidhi, who said: a good and authentic hadith]
