عن البَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازبٍ رضي اللهُ عنهما عن النَّبِيِّ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم أَنه قال في الأَنْصَار: «لا يُحِبُّهُمْ إِلَّا مُؤمِنٌ، وَلا يُبْغِضُهُمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ، مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ أحبَّهُ اللهُ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ أَبْغَضَهُ الله» متفقٌ عليه.
Al-Bara ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about the Ansar: "None loves them but a believer, and none hates them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah loves him, and whoever hates them, Allah hates him." [Agreed upon]

أن حب الأنصار واجبٌ لنصرهم الإسلام، وهو من علامات الإيمان. أن بغض الأنصار من علامات النفاق. من شارك الأنصار في نصرة الله ورسوله بما أمكنه كان له مثل أجرهم.
Loving the Ansar is obligatory because of their support of Islam, and it is one of the signs of faith. Hating the Ansar is one of the signs of hypocrisy. Whoever joins the Ansar in supporting Allah and His Messenger to the extent of his ability will have a reward like theirs.
