عن مُعَاذٍ رضيَ اللهُ عنه قال: سمِعتُ رسولَ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم يقول: قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: «المُتَحَابُّونَ في جَلالي، لَهُمْ مَنَابِرُ مِنْ نُورٍ يغبِطُهُمُ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ». رواه الترمذي وقال: حديثٌ حسنٌ صحيحٌ.
Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: "Those who love one another for the sake of My majesty shall have pulpits of light, which the Prophets and the martyrs will look upon with admiration." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: A good and authentic hadith (hasan sahih).
الشرح · explanation
منابر: جمع منبر، وهو المكان المرتفع. يغبطهم: الغبطة تمني مثل ما للغير من الخير من غير تمني زواله عن صاحبه.
"Pulpits" (manabir): the plural of minbar, which is an elevated place. "Look upon with admiration" (yaghbituhum): ghibtah is wishing for the like of the good that another possesses, without wishing for its removal from its owner.

أن للمتحابين في الله منازل شريفة عظيمة في الآخرة. جواز الغبطة في الخير، ولا يعدُّ هذا من الحسد المزموم. لا يلزم من غبطة الأنبياء للمتحابين في الله أنهم أفضل من الأنبياء عند الله، فإن الأنبياء أفضل الخلق، وإنما أريد بيان فضل وشرف المتحابين في الله وعلو منزلتهم.
Those who love one another for the sake of Allah have noble and lofty stations in the Hereafter. The permissibility of ghibtah (admiring desire) regarding good things; this is not counted among the blameworthy kind of envy. The Prophets' admiration of those who love one another for the sake of Allah does not imply that these people are superior to the Prophets in the sight of Allah, for the Prophets are the best of creation. Rather, what is intended is to make clear the virtue and honor of those who love one another for the sake of Allah and the loftiness of their rank.
