عن أبي هريرةَ رضيَ اللهُ عنهُ قال: قالَ رسولُ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «يَدْخُلُ الفُقَراءُ الجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الأَغْنِيَاءِ بِخَمْسِ مِئَةِ عَامٍ» رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث صحيح.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The poor will enter Paradise five hundred years before the rich." Recorded by al-Tirmidhi, who said it is an authentic (sahih) hadith.

فضل الفقراء مع العمل الصالح على الأغنياء مع العصيان. الفقراء يدخلون الجنة قبل الأغنياء لحبس الأغنياء في الموقف حتى يحاسبوا عن المال من أين اكتسبوه وأين وضعوه وأنفقوه. لا يُتوهّم أنّ الغنى في نفسه معصية لأنّ الأغنياء الصالحين يُطوى عليهم الزمان فلا يجدون الكلفة كما يجد أهل المعاصي في المحشر. الحذر من اكتساب المال من حرام.
The superiority of the poor who perform righteous deeds over the rich who disobey. The poor enter Paradise before the rich because the rich are detained at the standing place until they are called to account for their wealth: how they acquired it, and where they placed and spent it. It must not be imagined that wealth in itself is a sin, for the righteous rich pass through that time swiftly and do not encounter the hardship that the disobedient encounter at the gathering.
