عَنْ أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال: «بيْنَا أَيُّوبُ عليهِ السَّلامُ يَغتَسِلُ عُريَانًا، فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِ جَرَادٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَجَعَلَ أَيُّوبُ يَحْتَثِي في ثَوبِهِ، فَنَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ عَزَّ وَجلَّ: يَا أَيُّوبُ، أَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَغْنَيْتُكَ عمَّا تَرَى؟ قال: بَلَى وَعِزَّتِكَ، وَلكِنْ لا غِنَى بي عَنْ بَرَكَتِكَ» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "While Job (peace be upon him) was bathing naked, locusts of gold fell upon him, and Job began to gather them into his garment. Then his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, called out to him: 'O Job, did I not make you rich enough to do without what you see?' He said: 'Yes indeed, by Your Might, but I cannot do without Your blessing.'" Reported by al-Bukhari.

بينا: أي بينما. فخرَّ: فسقط. جراد من ذهب: قطع ذهب تشبه الجراد من حيث الشكل والكثرة. يحثي: يأخذ ذلك ويرميه في ثوبه. لا غنى لي عن بركتك: أي عن فضلك، ومقصوده عليه السلام لا آخذه شرهًا وحرصًا على الدّنيا، بل حرصًا على بركتك.
While (bayna): meaning whilst. Fell upon him (fa-kharra): meaning dropped down upon him. Locusts of gold (jarad min dhahab): pieces of gold resembling locusts in shape and in their abundance. Gather (yahthi): meaning he was taking them and casting them into his garment. I cannot do without Your blessing (la ghina li 'an barakatika): meaning Your bounty; what he (peace be upon him) intended was: I do not take this out of greed and avarice for the world, but rather out of eagerness for Your blessing.

الحثّ على التِماس ما يزداد الإنسان به بركةً وفضلًا. الحثّ على طلب العطاء من الله تعالى والشعور بالحاجة والافتقار إليه مهما جمع الإنسان من المال والمتاع. جواز الاغتسال عريانًا إذا كان في خلوة ولا يراه أحد، والتستر هو الأفضل.
The encouragement to seek out that by which a person increases in blessing and merit. The encouragement to seek bestowal from Allah the Exalted and to feel one's need and poverty before Him, no matter how much wealth and possessions a person amasses. The permissibility of bathing naked when in seclusion where no one can see, though covering oneself is preferable.
