عَنْ عائشةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْها قالتْ: كان كلامُ رسولِ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم كلامًا فَصْلًا يفْهَمُهُ كُلُّ مَنْ يَسْمَعُهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُود.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The speech of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was clear and distinct, understood by everyone who heard it. Reported by Abu Dawud.

فصلًا: أي بينًا ظاهرًا، أو فاصلًا بين الحق والباطل.
"Distinct (fasl)": clear and plain, or distinguishing between truth and falsehood.
