عَنْ عائشةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قالَتْ: كانَ رسولُ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم يَأْكُلُ طَعَامًا في سِتَّةٍ مِنْ أَصحَابِهِ، فَجَاءَ أَعْرابِيٌّ، فَأَكَلَهُ بِلُقْمَتَيْنِ، فقال رسولُ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ: «أَمَّا إِنَّهُ لوْ سَمَّى لَكَفَاكُمْ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، وقال: حديثٌ حسنٌ صحيحٌ.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was eating food along with six of his Companions when a bedouin came and ate it in two morsels. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had he mentioned the name of Allah, it would have sufficed you all." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan sahih hadith.

تواضع النّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم مع صحابته الكرام. أن الله يبارك في الطعام إذا ذُكر اسمه عليه، وأن البركة ترفع بترك التسمية عليه.
The humility of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with his noble Companions. That Allah places blessing in food when His name is mentioned over it, and that the blessing is lifted by omitting the naming over it.
