عنْ عمرِو بنِ شُعَيْبٍ عنْ أَبيهِ عَنْ جدِّهِ رضيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: قالَ رسُولُ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يُرى أَثَرُ نِعْمَتِهِ عَلى عبْدهِ». رواهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وقالَ: حديثٌ حسنٌ.
Amr ibn Shu'ayb reported from his father, from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah loves to see the effect of His blessing upon His servant." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith.

استحباب إظهار التجمل في الملبس من غير إسراف تحدثًا بنعمة الله لا ترفعًا وتكبرًا على الناس. حضور النية الحسنة عند الإنسان في لبسه للجميل أنّه يريد إبراز نعمة الله عليه شكرًا لمُنعمها، فيه باب من أبواب الأجر لمن نواه.
The recommendation of displaying adornment in dress without extravagance, as an expression of gratitude for Allah's blessing, not out of haughtiness or arrogance over people. The presence of a good intention in a person when wearing fine clothing — that he intends to manifest Allah's blessing upon him in gratitude to the One who bestowed it — is a door among the doors of reward for whoever intends it.
