عَنْ أبي الْمَلِيحِ عنْ أَبيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أنَّ رسُولَ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ نَهَى عنْ جُلُودِ السِّباعِ. رواهُ أبو دَاوُودَ، والتِّرْمِذِيُّ والنَّسَائِيُّ بأَسَانِيدَ صِحاحٍ. وفي روايةِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ: نهَى عنْ جُلُودِ السِّباعِ أنْ تُفْتَرَشَ.
Abu al-Malih reported from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the skins of predatory animals. Reported by Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nasa'i with sahih (authentic) chains. In al-Tirmidhi's narration: he forbade the skins of predatory animals being used as bedding.

السّباع: أي كل ما له ناب ويعدو على الناس والدوابّ فيفترسها.
"Predatory animals" (al-siba'): every animal that has a fang and attacks people and beasts, preying upon them.
