عَنْ أبي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عنْ رسولِ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ قالَ: «مَنْ قعَدَ مَقْعَدًا لمْ يَذْكُرِ اللهَ تعالى فِيهِ كانَتْ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ اللهِ تِرَةٌ، وَمَنِ اضْطجَعَ مَضْجَعًا لا يَذْكرُ اللهَ تعالى فيهِ كاَنتْ عَليْهِ مِنَ اللهِ تِرَةٌ » رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sits in a place in which he does not remember Allah the Exalted, it will be a source of loss (tirah) for him from Allah; and whoever lies down in a place in which he does not remember Allah the Exalted, it will be a source of loss (tirah) for him from Allah." تأكيد ذكر الله تعالى في كل مجلس ومقعد ومضجع، ليكون المسلم دائم الصلة مع الله تعالى. المجالس الإلكترونية والشبكات الاجتماعية داخلة في عموم مسمى المجالس فلنجعلها بابا من أبواب ذكر الله والتذكير به. لا بد أن يتنبه المسلمون في عصرنا الحاضر أن مجالسهم كثيرًا ما يحصل فيها من الأمور المنكرة والغفلة عن ذكر الله تعالى كالغيبة والطعن في الناس وإيذائهم مما يسبب الفرقة والقطيعة والتباغض والضغائن.
Emphasis on remembering Allah the Exalted in every gathering, seat, and resting place, so that the Muslim remains in constant connection with Allah the Exalted. Electronic gatherings and social networks fall under the general meaning of "gatherings," so let us make them a gateway to the remembrance of Allah and to reminding others of Him. Muslims today must take heed that their gatherings often contain reprehensible matters and heedlessness of the remembrance of Allah the Exalted, such as backbiting, disparaging people, and harming them, which causes division, estrangement, mutual hatred, and rancor.
