عَنْ أبي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْه: أنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلّى اللهُ علَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ قالَ: «إذَا اقتَربَ الزَّمَانُ لَمْ تَكَدْ رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمنِ تَكْذِبُ، وَرُؤْيَا المُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأرْبَعيَنَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . وفي روايةٍ: «وَأصْدَقُكُمْ رُؤْيَا أصْدَقُكُم حَدِيثًا».
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the time draws near, the dream of the believer will hardly be false. And the dream of the believer is one of forty-six parts of prophethood." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim). In another narration: "And the most truthful of you in dreams are the most truthful of you in speech."

اقترب الزمان: أي كان آخر الدنيا واقتربت الآخرة.
"The time draws near": that is, when the end of the world approaches and the Hereafter draws close.

أنّ الله يُؤنس المؤمن ويواسيه بما يُريه من الحقائق وذلك عند فساد الزمان، ويزداد صدق الرؤيا بصدق حديث صاحبها. أنّ الرؤيا الحقّ جزء من النبوة باعتبارها إعلامًا من الله لبعض المؤمنين وهم في حالة النوم. أنّ رؤى المؤمنين في آخر الزمان يغلب فيها الصدق.
Allah comforts and consoles the believer through the truths He shows him, and that is at the time of the world's corruption; the truthfulness of the dream increases with the truthfulness of the dreamer's speech. A true dream is a part of prophethood, in that it is a form of notification from Allah to some believers while they are asleep. The dreams of believers at the end of time are predominantly truthful.
