عَنْ أبي عُمارةَ الْبَرَاءِ بنِ عازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُما قالَ: أمَرَنا رسولُ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ بِسَبْعٍ: «بِعَيادَةِ الْمرِيضِ، وَاتِّباعِ الْجَنَائِزِ، وَتشْميتِ العَاطسِ، ونصْرِ الضَّعِيفِ، وَعَوْنِ الْمَظْلُومِ، وإفْشاءِ السَّلامِ، وإبْرارِ الْقَسَمِ» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ، هذا لفظُ إحْدى رِواياتِ الْبُخَارِيِّ .
Abu Umarah al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to do seven things: "to visit the sick, to follow funeral processions, to invoke a blessing upon the one who sneezes, to support the weak, to help the oppressed, to spread the greeting of peace, and to fulfill the oath." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim); this is the wording of one of al-Bukhari's narrations.

عيادة المريض: زيارته. اتباع الجنائز: تشييعها. تشميت العاطس: الدعاء له بما ورد. إفشاء السلام: الإكثار منه ونشره. إبرار القسم: أي تنفيذ ما حلف عليه.
"Visiting the sick": paying him a visit. "Following funerals": accompanying them to the grave. "Invoking a blessing upon the one who sneezes": supplicating for him with what has been transmitted. "Spreading the salam": doing it abundantly and diffusing it. "Fulfilling the oath": that is, carrying out what one has sworn to do.
