عنْ أبي الخطَّابِ قتادةَ قالَ: قُلْتُ لأنسٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أكَانتِ المُصافَحةُ في أصْحابِ رسولِ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ؟ قالَ: نَعَمْ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Abu al-Khattab Qatadah said: I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): "Did handshaking exist among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He said: "Yes." Reported by al-Bukhari.

مشروعية المصافحة لأنها كانت موجودة فيما بين الصحابة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُم. استحباب المصافحة لأنها سبب لكسب محبّة الآخرين وهي من وسائل الدعوة. حرص التابعين على معرفة ما كان عليه الصحابة إذ هو الجيل الذي يُقتدى به.
The legitimacy of handshaking, since it existed among the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them).
