عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رضي اللَّهُ عنه، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ على أَعْرَابيٍّ يَعُودُهُ، وَكانَ إذا دَخَلَ عَلى مَنْ يَعُودُهُ قالَ: «لا بَأْسَ، طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went in to a bedouin to visit him, and whenever he went in to visit someone he would say: "No harm; a purification, if Allah wills." Reported by al-Bukhari.
الشرح · explanation
يعوده: يزوره لمرض. طَهور: أي مرضك هذا تطهير لنفسك من الذنوب والآثام.
"Visits him": pays him a visit on account of illness. "Tahur (a purification)": that is, this illness of yours is a purification for your soul from sins and misdeeds.
