عَنْ أُسامةَ بنِ زيدٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمَا قالَ: أَرْسَلَتْ إِحْدَى بَناتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ إِلَيهِ تَدْعُوهُ وتُخْبِرُهُ أَنَّ صبيًّا لهَا -أَوِ ابْنًا- في المَوتِ، فقالَ للرَّسولِ: «ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهَا، فَأَخْبِرْهَا أَنَّ للّهِ تعالى مَا أَخذَ، ولَهُ ما أعْطَى، وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ، فَمُرْهَا فلْتَصْبِرْ ولْتَحْتسِبْ …» وذكرَ تمامَ الحديثِ رقم (٢٩). مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
On the authority of Usama ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said: One of the daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent for him, calling him and informing him that a young child of hers — or a son — was dying. So he said to the messenger: "Return to her and inform her that to Allah the Exalted belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He gives, and everything with Him has an appointed term. So command her to be patient and to seek reward...." And he mentioned the rest of hadith no. (29). Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).

إحدى بنات النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم: هي زينب. احتُضِر: حضر ودنا موته. إِنَّ للّهِ مَا أَخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى: أي الشيء كله للّهِ، إن أخذ منك شيئًا فهو ملكه، وإن أعطاك شيئًا فهو ملكه. كُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى: كل شيء عنده بوقت معلوم لا يتقدم ولا يتأخر. لتحتسب: تطلب الأجر والثواب من اللّهِ بصبرها على مصيبتها.
"One of the daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)": she is Zaynab. "Was dying (uhtudira)": his death drew near. "To Allah belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He gives (inna lillah ma akhadha wa-lahu ma a'ta)": that is, everything belongs to Allah; if He takes something from you, it is His property, and if He gives you something, it is His property. "Everything with Him has an appointed term (kullu shay'in indahu bi-ajalin musamma)": everything with Him has a known time that neither advances nor is delayed. "To seek reward (li-tahtasib)": to seek the reward and recompense from Allah through her patience over her calamity.
