The one who undertakes washing the dead has a great reward, on condition that he conceals [what he sees] and does not expose his faults. The obligation to conceal and screen the deceased, for this concealment is among the causes of forgiveness. There is no harm in mentioning the condition of the dead if it is for a legitimate benefit that cannot be achieved otherwise.
