عَنْ أنسٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كانَ رسولُ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ لا يَطْرُقُ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلًا، وكانَ يَأْتِيهِمْ غُدْوَةً أَوْ عَشِيَّةً. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not come to his family by night; he would come to them in the morning or in the evening. Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).
الشرح · explanation
يطرق: المَجِيءُ في اللَّيْلِ. غدوة: أول النهار. عشية: من صلاة المغرب إلى العتمة.
"Come by night (yatruq)": arriving during the night. "Morning (ghudwah)": the beginning of the day. "Evening (ashiyyah)": from the Maghrib prayer until nightfall.
