عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ بَشِيرِ بنِ عَبْدِ المُنْذِرِ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ: «مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا» رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ بِإِسْنَادٍ جَيِّدٍ.
Abu Lubabah Bashir ibn Abd al-Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an melodiously (yataghanna) is not of us." Reported by Abu Dawud with a good chain.
الشرح · explanation
يَتَغَنَّى: يُحْسِّنُ صَوْتَهُ بِالْقُرْآنِ. فليس منا: أي ليس من العاملين بسنّتنا وطريقتنا.
"Recites melodiously (yataghanna)": he beautifies his voice with the Qur'an. "Is not of us": that is, he is not among those who act by our sunnah and our way.
