عَنْ أَبي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رسولَ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قالَ: «مِنَ القُرْآنِ سُورَةٌ ثَلاثُونَ آيَةً شَفعتْ لِرَجُلٍ حَتَّى غُفِرَ لَهُ، وهِيَ: {تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ}». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ، والتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ. وَفي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُودَ: «تَشْفَعُ».
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is a surah in the Qur'an of thirty verses that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is: 'Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion' (Tabarak alladhi bi-yadihi al-mulk)." Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith. In the narration of Abu Dawud: "it intercedes."
الشرح · explanation
شفعت: أي تشفع لقارئها يوم القيامة، والتعبير بالماضي ( شفعت ) لإفادة تحقق الوقوع ترغيبًا فيها.
"interceded": that is, it intercedes for the one who recites it on the Day of Resurrection; the past tense ("interceded") is used to convey the certainty of its occurrence, as an encouragement toward it.
