Ubayy ibn Kab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: There was a man from the Ansar—I do not know of anyone whose house was farther from the mosque than his—yet not a single prayer would he miss. It was said to him: What if you bought a donkey to ride in the darkness and in the scorching heat? He said: It would not please me that my house were beside the mosque; I wish for my walking to the mosque to be recorded for me, and my returning when I return to my family. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has gathered all of that for you." Reported by Muslim.
