عَنْ عَبْدِ اللّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ قالَ: «صَلُّوا قَبْلَ المَغْرِبِ» قَالَ في الثَّالِثَةِ: «لِمَنْ شَاءَ» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Abdullah ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray before Maghrib." He said the third time: "For whoever wishes." Reported by al-Bukhari.

قبل المغرب: أي قبل صلاة فرض المغرب ركعتين. قال في الثالثة: يدل السياق على أن النَّبِيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم كرر طلب الصلاة ثلاثًا حضًا على الاهتمام بذلك.
"Before Maghrib": that is, two rak'ahs before the obligatory Maghrib prayer. "He said the third time": the context indicates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated the call to pray three times, urging concern for it.
