عَنْ أَبي سَعِيدٍ الخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ تُصْبِحُوا» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray the witr before you reach the morning." Reported by Muslim.

أوتروا: صلوا الوتر. قبل أن تصبحوا: قبل أن يؤذّن الصبح.
"Pray the witr": perform the witr prayer. "Before you reach the morning": before the call to prayer for the dawn (Fajr).
