عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أفْضَلِ أيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ، فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ فِيهِ، فَإِنَّ صَلاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ» رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ.
Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the best of your days is Friday, so send abundant blessings upon me on it, for your blessings are presented to me." Reported by Abu Dawud with a sahih (authentic) chain.

الحثّ على الصلاة على النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم، والإكثار من ذلك يوم الجمعة، ليكون ثوابها أفضل وأجرها أكثر، فالعمل الصالح يشرف بشرف زمانه ومكانه. أنّ صلاتنا على النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم تُعرض عليه بعد وفاته، بكيفية لا نعلم تفاصيلها، وأما غيرها من الأعمال فلا يعرف في نصوص الوحي نص صحيح يدل على أنها تُعرض، وأمور الغيب لا تثبت إلا بالدليل الصحيح. أفضل صيغ الصلاة على النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم الصلوات الإبراهيمية حيث أمر بها النّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم أصحابه رضي اللّهُ عنهم وعلمهم إياها.
Encouragement to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and to do so abundantly on Friday, so that its reward may be greater and its recompense more; for a righteous deed is ennobled by the nobility of its time and place. Our blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are presented to him after his death, in a manner whose details we do not know; as for other deeds, there is no authentic text in the revelation indicating that they are presented, and matters of the unseen are established only by authentic evidence. The best formulas for sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are the Ibrahimic blessings, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to use and taught to them.
