عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «قَالَ اللّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: «أحَبُّ عِبَادِي إلَيَّ أَعْجَلُهُمْ فِطْرًا» رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) said: 'The most beloved of My servants to Me are those who hasten most to break their fast.'" Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith.
الشرح · explanation
أعجلهم فطرًا: أي أسرعهم إلى الإفطار بعد التحقق من الغروب اتباعًا لسنّة النّبيّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عليه وَسَلَّمَ.
"Those who hasten most to break their fast": that is, the quickest of them to break the fast after confirming sunset, in following the sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
