عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبيُّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «إِيمَانٌ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ» قِيَلَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: «الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّه» قِيلَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: «حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: Which deed is best? He said: "Faith in Allah and His Messenger." It was said: Then what? He said: "Jihad in the path of Allah." It was said: Then what? He said: "An accepted Hajj (hajj mabrur)." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).
