عَنْ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَأيْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلَيْنِ أَتيَانِي، فَصَعِدَا بِيَ الشَّجَرَةَ، فَأَدْخَلانِي دَارًا هِيَ أَحْسَنُ وَأَفضَلُ، لَمْ أَرَ قَطُّ أحْسَنَ مِنْهَا، قَالَا: أَمَّا هَذِهِ الدَّارُ فَدَارُ الشُّهَدَاءِ» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ. وَهُوَ بَعْضٌ مِنْ حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ فِيهِ أَنْوَاعٌ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ، سَيَأْتِي فِي (بَابِ تَحْرِيمِ الْكَذِبِ) إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى.

Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Last night I saw two men who came to me and took me up the tree, then brought me into a house that was more beautiful and more excellent than any I had ever seen — I had never seen one more beautiful than it. They said: 'As for this house, it is the house of the martyrs.'" Reported by al-Bukhari. This is part of a long hadith containing various kinds of knowledge, which will come in the Chapter on the Prohibition of Lying, if Allah the Exalted wills.
