عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «جَاهِدُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأنْفُسِكُمْ وَألْسِنَتِكُمْ» رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, your selves, and your tongues." Reported by Abu Dawud with a sahih chain.

وجوب الجهاد بإنفاق المال في الحرب وبذل النفس حبًا في النصر ورغبة في الشهادة ومقارعة الكفر بالحجة والبرهان، ولا بد من كل هذا لنشر الإسلام وصون الأوطان وإزالة معالم الكفر والطغيان.
The obligation of jihad by spending wealth in war, giving of oneself out of love for victory and desire for martyrdom, and confronting disbelief with proof and evidence; all of this is indispensable for spreading Islam, safeguarding homelands, and effacing the landmarks of disbelief and tyranny.
