عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمَمْلُوكُ الَّذِي يُحْسِنُ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ، وَيُؤَدِّي إِلَى سَيِّدِهِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَالنَّصِيحَةِ وَالطَّاعَةِ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The owned slave who worships his Lord well and renders to his master what is due from him of right, sincere counsel, and obedience has two rewards." Reported by al-Bukhari.
الشرح · explanation
الذي عليه: ما وجب عليه. الطاعة: أي في غير معصية اللّهِ عز وجل.
"What is due from him": what is obligatory upon him. "Obedience": that is, in other than disobedience to Allah (the Mighty and Majestic).
