حديث 1447 · باب فضل حِلَق الذكر والندب الى ملازمتها والنهي عن مفارقتها لغير عذر — روضة الحديث

عن أبي هريرة رضي اللّه عنه قال: قال رسول اللّه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم: «إن للّه تعالى ملائكة يطوفون في الطرق، يلتمسون أهل الذّكر، فإذا وجدوا قوما يذكرون اللّه عز وجل تنادوا: هلموا إلى حاجتكم، فيحفونهم بأجنحتهم إلى السماء الدنيا، فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ -وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ-: مَا يَقُولُ عِبَادِي؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: يُسبِّحُونَكَ، وَيُكَبِّرُونَك، وَيَحْمَدُونَكَ، ويمَجِّدُونَكَ، فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ رَأَوْنِي؟ فَيَقُولُون: لا، وَاللّهِ مَا رَأَوْكَ، فَيَقُولُ: كَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْني؟! قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: لَوْ رَأَوْكَ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ لَكَ عِبَادَةً، وَأَشَدَّ لَكَ تَمْجِيدًا، وَأَكْثَرَ لَكَ تَسْبِيحًا، فَيَقُولُ فَمَاذَا يَسْأَلُونَ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: يَسْأَلُونَكَ الْجَنَّةَ، قَالَ: يَقُولُ: وَهَلْ رَأَوْهَا؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: لا، وَاللّهِ يَا رَبِّ مَا رَأَوْهَا، يَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا؟! قال: يقولون: لو أنّهم رأوها كانوا أشدّ عليها حرصا، وأشدّ لها طلبًا، وأعظم فيها رغبةً، قال: فممّ يتعوذون؟ قَالَ: يَتَعَوَّذُونَ مِنَ النَّارِ، قَالَ: فَيقُولُ: وَهَل رَأَوْهَا؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: لا وَاللّهِ مَا رَأَوْهَا، فَيَقُولُ: كَيْف لَو رَأوْها؟! قَالَ: يَقُولُونَ: لَوْ رَأَوْهَا كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهَا فِرَارًا، وَأَشَدَّ لَهَا مَخَافَةً، قَالَ: فَيَقُولُ: فَأُشْهِدُكم أنّي قد غفرتُ لهم، قال: يقولُ مَلَكٌ من الملائكة: فيهم فلان ليس منهم، إنّما جاء لحاجةٍ، قال: هم الجلساء لا يشقى بهم جليسُهم» متفق عليه. وفي روايةٍ لمسلمٍ عن أبي هريرة رضي اللّه عنه عن النّبيّ صَلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم قال: «إنّ للّه ملائكة سيّارةً فُضُلًا، يتتبّعون مجالس الذّكر، فإذا وجدوا مجلسًا فيه ذكرٌ قعدوا معهم، وحفّ بعضهم بعضًا بأجنحتهم حتى يملؤوا ما بينهم وبين السّماء الدّنيا ، فَإِذَا تَفَرَّقُوا عَرَجُوا وَصَعِدُوا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، فَيَسْأَلُهُمُ اللّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ -وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ-: مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُمْ؟ فيقولون: جئنا من عند عبادٍ لك في الأرض، يسبّحونك، ويكبّرونك، ويهلّلونك، ويحمدونك، ويسألونك، قال: وماذا يسألوني؟ قَالُوا: يَسْأَلُونَكَ جَنَّتَكَ، قَالَ: وَهَلْ رَأَوْا جَنَّتِي؟ قَالُوا: لا، أَيْ رَبِّ، قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْا جَنَّتِي؟! قَالُوا: وَيَسْتَجِيرُونَكَ، قَالَ: وَمِمَّ يَسْتَجِيرُونِي؟ قَالُوا: مِنْ نَارِكَ يَا رَبِّ، قَالَ: وَهَلْ رَأَوْا نَارِي؟ قَالُوا: لا، قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْا نَارِي؟! قالوا: ويستغفرونك، فيقول: قد غفرت لهم، وأعطيتهم ما سألوا، وأجرتُهم ممّا استجاروا، قال: يقولون: ربّ، فيهم فلانٌ عبدٌ خطّاءٌ، إنّما مرّ، فجلس معهم، فيقول: وله غفرت، همُ القومُ لا يشقى بهم جليسُهم».

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah the Exalted has angels who roam the roads seeking out the people of remembrance. When they find a people remembering Allah (the Mighty and Majestic), they call to one another: Come to what you sought! And they envelop them with their wings up to the lowest heaven. Then their Lord asks them—though He knows best: What are My servants saying? He said: They say: They are glorifying You, magnifying You, praising You, and exalting You. He says: Have they seen Me? They say: No, by Allah, they have not seen You. He says: How would it be if they had seen Me? He said: They say: If they had seen You, they would be more intense in worshipping You, more intense in exalting You, and more abundant in glorifying You. He says: What are they asking for? He said: They say: They ask You for Paradise. He said: He says: And have they seen it? He said: They say: No, by Allah, O Lord, they have not seen it. He says: How would it be if they had seen it? He said: They say: If they had seen it, they would be more eager for it, more earnest in seeking it, and greater in longing for it. He says: From what do they seek refuge? He said: They say: They seek refuge from the Fire. He said: He says: And have they seen it? He said: They say: No, by Allah, they have not seen it. He says: How would it be if they had seen it? He said: They say: If they had seen it, they would flee from it more intensely and fear it more greatly. He said: He says: I call you to witness that I have forgiven them. He said: One of the angels says: Among them is so-and-so, who is not one of them; he only came for some need. He says: They are the sitting-companions by whom their companion is not made wretched." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim). In a narration of Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Allah has roving angels, over and above [the recording angels], who follow the gatherings of remembrance. When they find a gathering in which there is remembrance, they sit with them and envelop one another with their wings until they fill what is between them and the lowest heaven. When [the people] disperse, they ascend and rise up to heaven. Then Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) asks them—though He knows best: Where have you come from? They say: We have come from some servants of Yours on earth who were glorifying You, magnifying You, declaring Your oneness, praising You, and asking of You. He says: And what do they ask of Me? They say: They ask You for Your Paradise. He says: And have they seen My Paradise? They say: No, O Lord. He says: How would it be if they had seen My Paradise? They say: And they seek Your protection. He says: And from what do they seek My protection? They say: From Your Fire, O Lord. He says: And have they seen My Fire? They say: No. He says: How would it be if they had seen My Fire? They say: And they seek Your forgiveness. He says: I have forgiven them, granted them what they asked, and given them refuge from that from which they sought refuge. He said: They say: O Lord, among them is so-and-so, a sinful servant who was merely passing by and sat down with them. He says: To him too I have granted forgiveness; they are a people by whom their sitting-companion is not made wretched."
