عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا لَقِيتُ مِنْ عَقْربٍ لَدَغَتْنِي الْبَارِحَةَ، قَالَ: «أَمَا لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ تَضُرَّكَ» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what I suffered from a scorpion that stung me last night!" He said: "Had you only said, when you reached the evening: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created—it would not have harmed you." Reported by Muslim.
