عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ: «اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ» وَإِذَا أَمْسَى قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ المَصِيرُ» رَوَاهُ أَبو دَاوُودَ، والتِّرْمِذِيُّ وقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say when he rose in the morning: "O Allah, by You we enter the morning, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection." And when he reached the evening he would say: "O Allah, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the return." Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith.

بك أصبحنا: بقدرتك دخلنا في الصباح. النشور: البعثُ بعدَ الموتِ والتَّفرُّقِ بعدَ الجَمعِ.
"By You we enter the morning": by Your power we have entered the morning. "The resurrection": the raising up after death and the dispersal after gathering.
