Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The most frequent supplication of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was: "O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim). Muslim added in his narration: When Anas wished to make a single supplication, he would supplicate with this one; and when he wished to make a longer supplication, he would include it within it.
